Wow…when I started Aggregate Culture as way to keep up with all the amazing changes web 2.0 was bringing to media, I never dreamed we would start seeing these great changes crash before having an opportunity to mature so quickly.

Posted by the show’s respective talents on twitter earlier today, and now starting to get covered by blogs everywhere, the word is out that Revision3 is cutting back on some very popular shows. My personal favorite “Internet Superstar” being amongst them.

'Truemores.com reports that heavy hitters such as “Epic Fu” and “Wine Library” are now without distribution deals, while other well-liked shows such as “Pixel Perfect” and “Pop Siren” have been cancelled altogether.

You can read the obligatory blog post by Revision3.

If there is a really smart executive left in one of the broadcast media companies, they should snap these shows up quickly. I could easily see anyone of these shows fitting in very nicely with the same kind of adventuresome programming that is bringing us “Mad Men” and “The Shield” on basic cable.

Thanks again Wall Street for making us all suffer.
